another day of fun

Carole says, Wow! Look Roger; Justin is getting running water to our home. Oh boy! no more packing water in buckets. We love you Justin!

Two big tonka toys stuck. Men sometimes just can't stay out of the mud. Jake comes to the rescue with the dozer.

Jake says, Evans now that I got you out of the mud I need your help to get a bit more compaction on this landing strip.

We come to realize Evans will do anything to help a buddy do a better job for our Lord. "We must to make the landing field safer for the kids."

Just by seeing the results we can tell that Evans can make the grounds smooth and straight. Only the best for Jesus!

Another days of men's play at camp

Some days boys just are not happy unless they have big toys to play with. Here's Dave and Evans getting their hands and clothes dirty again. A one inch steel hydraulic line deep in the mainframe sprung a leak. It was fun for them as they skillfully snaked the long tube out of its hole and after some grinding, washing, welding and putting it all back togehter again it did not leak any more. It was full day's job but now the Deere is back in the running, for Evans to play in the dirt with.

There are so many things that need attention before any kids are able to come the camp and taking some gas out of over filled 55 gallon drums is one of them. Here is Justin and Jake playing with the big cans. They did not have a spark around so the excitement there was minimal.

Florida Boys in Alaska

riding small planes are for other people! Though I will endure for my Lord's service where ever/however He call. Justin

The two hour boat ride on the Yukon River was a lot better for all. we even dropped by the bone yard and seen some mastadon remains; bald eagle's nest and small grizz.

The good times include work but also bible fellowship, prayer abd good meals.

The supply barge arrived with more goodies

We got all kinds of goodies. even some food.

Ice Damage is light

Six foot of ice on top the potato garden, rubarbs and rassberry okay. the boat dock and the new smoke is gone. Took four hours to clear the beach of the ice so that the river barge can deliver summer supplies. It was fun.
