As I write this activities are in full swing here at camp. In our camp olympics we have 9 cabins competing, the events include frisbee golf, rifle range, skeet shooting, hockey, crafts, archery, and nuke em volleyball.

God has blessed us with a wonderful camp full of 44 campers coming from Galena, Ruby, Tanana, Buckland, Selawik, and Grayling. This far counselors and staff have connected well with the campers. Friendships are being formed and nurtured, as we spend time in the cabins, in the activities, and eating sloppy Joes in the dining hall.

God has graciously been answering our prayers. He cleared the rain when it was prohibiting us from flying to camp. He brought every camper here safety. He has instilled unity in our staff. He has been opening doors for spiritual conversations with the campers.

Please continue to pray for us as we seek to be a salt and a light. Our aim is to honor Christ in all we do. Apart from Him we can do nothing. We are fully dependent on Him to enable us to bear fruit, to empower us for service, and to work in the hearts of those who don't know Him. Pray for us to be filled with His truth and greater measures of the Holy Spirit so that we would accurately convey the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our words and actions.

Thank you all for your part in this!

In Christ,
Joey Katches
